Zonked today. We left Holland and caught a couple of trains to Belgium (catching trains to other countries? What is this??) and arrived in Ghent this afternoon. Wow. What a city! Gothic architecture, lots of lovely old buildings, AND A 12TH CENTURY CASTLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY!!!

CASTLE!!! |
We went on a canal boat tour and our guide was hilarious! Picking on the visitors, others on the canal, and being very crude, it was a wonderful trip. So many old buildings, it's a wonder they haven't fallen down.

An early night tonight, and another beer.

A Jupiler beer - I don't know what variety
Not my favourite, but not bad |
Hopefully with some energy tomorrow, it's off to the pre-day for Graspop Metal Meeting.
Yours in exhaustion,
