For a change, here's a morning post! Yesterday we had a walk around Ghent in the morning (wow) and had a look in a cathedral.

Beautiful stained glass windows |
We caught a train to Mol for Graspop Metal Meeting - 'twas a small train, and an over full train. I had a chat to some Flemish Belgian guys going to GMM, and they told me about Belgium and Graspop. We got to Mol, went to our accommodation, and they gave me a local beer.
 |
Postal - wasn't as fond of this one, but it was strong! |
Then I headed out for the GMM pre-day. Wow. So many people, and most of them camping!

But I got in, and had a look around. The area is so large, but I guess I expected that.

All hail GMM! |
I befriended some South Africans (of course I found English speakers from the Southern Hemisphere who watch cricket) and we had a look around together.

Leshac and Carlus (no idea how to spell their names) |

Rulers of Graspop!! |

This one is Jupiter - about the most common/popular beer in Belgium |
I'm about to head off to the first day of Graspop (Ne Obliviscaris today - yay!) - you won't hear much from me this weekend.
*raises horns* Let the metal begin!
